Hamline University Opening Day is Expecting for Your Participation (draft)

Hamline University is going to have its opening day on May 30th and 31st, 2010. On that day, visitors can visit around the campus with a guide from Hamline. Professors and relative staffs would also be available to answer questions. All students or prospective students of Hamline and their parents are welcomed to participate.

St. Paul, Minnesota March 22, 2010 -- There is an opportunity to know more about Hamline University! On May 30th and 31st, 2010, Hamline University is going to have its opening day. Professors, staffs, and students of Hamline would all be waiting for visiting and questions on campus.

During the opening day, visitors would be showed around the campus under the guide of staffs or students from Hamline University. Besides, professors of different programs and stuffs of different offices would be available to answer visitors’ questions. Students and their family can feel free to ask for information about scholarship, exchange programs, and any other things they are interested in.

“Current students and their family, as well as prospective students and their family are all welcomed to participate” said Julie Woodbury, professor of Hamline University and chief planner of the opening day. “This is a great opportunity for them to know more about how we did, and for us to know more about what they need.”

According to Ms. Woodbury, in order to provide the best education and learning environment, Hamline is making every effort to understand needs and wants from students and their family. For students and parents, this is also a good way to speak out their opinions, and reduce their concerns.
